About Me

My name is Andrea Lane and I am a senior at MC² STEM High School. The FABLab is embedded in our curriculum, which gives me the ability to use its machines often. While staying active in the FABLab, I was given the honor to attend FAB7 which sparked and interest in FABAcademy. Having the FABLab in my school gave me back the passion to learn, but every student should be able to use technology like this. That’s why we have a mobile FABLab to provide students with the lab for a few days so the students can expand their imaginations and career options. I love teaching students, teachers and parents about the lab and how to use the different equipment. After hopefully succeeding in this academy I will be the guru in our labs.
